Airwolf

... not a huge modern day TV fan...

... but the old show 'Airwolf' was a heck of a lot of fun Saturday night viewing, especially with a little six year old guy who couldn't remain seated nor contain his excitement during the chopper battles...

... here's a link to a good clip...

... they don't make 'em like that anymore - too bad...

... a few years later, back when living in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area, did some occasional weekend rock climbing at Great Falls Mather Gorge park with a guy who had worked on the show... became acquainted while having film processing and studio color timing performed at 'Colorlab' film laboratory, Rockville, MD... said he had become good friends with the recently deceased show star, 'Jan-Michael Vincent'... one entertaining tale he related (of quite a few) was that they frequently surfed together at California's 'Zuma Beach' - Vincent had a hillside home overlooking the beach and Pacific Ocean and was a pretty good surfer - said that when they hit the swells the bikini-clad California beach babes in their immediate vicinity would sometimes number in the triple digits - each one drop dead gorgeous - most doing their best to catch Vincent's attention... poor guy...

... rest in peace, brother...
