Tells ya' all ya' need know about Shaft and sets the tone from thereon. Brilliant juxtapose of film and score. Parks and Hayes - genius. Growin' up best buddy 'Vince' (aka:"sex machine to all the chicks") resembled Roundtree quite a bit (we thought). We'll post this for him.
Always a good time checkin' this stuff out first run weekends at the drive-in movies. Twenty-four count case of Rolling Rock "pony bottles" - tokin' - roach bombs - a bottle of 'Boones Farm Strawberry Hill' wine and roll one for the gals. No 'On-Demand' viewing back then. If ya' missed it at the theaters, ya' missed it. And that was OK, too.
